The 2024-25 olive oil campaign concluded with great satisfaction, once again confirming the excellence of Aroldo extra virgin olive oil. A year marked by favorable weather conditions, a bountiful harvest, and the extraordinary quality of our product.
Harvest Numbers
This year, we harvested approximately 35,000 kilos of olives, a 200% increase compared to last year, which was very poor. The main cultivars remain Leccino, Frantoio, and Moraiolo, carefully selected from our olive groves to ensure an oil with an unmistakable aromatic profile.
An Oil with Character
This season's result is an extra virgin olive oil with low acidity and a high concentration of polyphenols, distinguished by:
- Color: intense green with golden highlights
- Aroma: medium fruity with hints of fresh grass, artichoke, and almond
- Taste: balanced, with a harmony of bitterness and spiciness that enhances the authenticity of the freshly pressed olives
Processing and Innovation
To maximize the organoleptic properties, the olives were pressed within 24 hours of harvesting, using cutting-edge cold-pressed technology. This process guarantees an oil of the highest quality, perfect for those seeking a genuine product rich in nutritional benefits.
